ANKARA. — Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Turkish parliamentarian and Chairman of the Türkiye–Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ali Şahin, on the wedding of his son, Ahmet Hakan.
In an official letter, the Prime Minister congratulated Ali Şahin and his family and expressed regret that he could not attend the wedding ceremony in person. He said Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, would represent him at the ceremony.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also prayed for a long, happy and prosperous married life for the newlyweds.
The Prime Minister’s message was read out in Turkish during the wedding ceremony and was warmly received by the guests, who responded with applause.
Ali Şahin expressed his and his family’s deep appreciation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the gracious gesture, saying that the message from the Prime Minister of Pakistan would remain a cherished memory for years to come.
He also conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the health, well-being, prosperity and continued success of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, his family and the people of brotherly Pakistan
