Gujranwala: Commissioner Gujranwala and Gujrat Division Muhammad Ali has said that promotion of agriculture is among the top priorities of the Punjab Government, while the Chief Minister Punjab’s “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” Scheme is a continuation of this vision aimed at making barren land cultivable.
Addressing a meeting on the Model Village Apna Khet Apna Rozgar Scheme, he said the initiative would provide agricultural land to landless farmers and help make Punjab self-sufficient in agriculture.
Commissioner Muhammad Ali directed Deputy Commissioners and concerned officers to strictly follow government rules and ensure complete transparency in the distribution of land so that the rights of deserving applicants are protected.
He said the scheme is an important welfare initiative aimed at providing landless individuals with dignified employment, economic self-reliance and better opportunities for their families
