RAWALPINDI –CPO Rawalpindi Hasan Mushtaq Sakhira has taken immediate notice after a video allegedly showing the abuse and torture of a citizen at Gujar Khan Police Station surfaced.
The CPO ordered the suspension of Constable Ihtesham, his attachment to the police lines and issuance of a charge sheet. SP President was also directed to conduct an impartial inquiry and submit a report.
CPO Hasan Mushtaq Sakhira said that violence or mistreatment of any citizen would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
