PESHAWAR—A spare parts trader, Juma Khan, son of Ziarat Gul and a resident of Habib Abad, Yakatoot, has appealed to IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chaudhry Zulfiqar Hameed, CCPO Peshawar, and SSP Operations Masood Ahmad Bangash to take immediate notice after he and his family allegedly received repeated death and extortion threats from an unknown foreign phone number.
Juma Khan said he submitted an application to Yakatoot Police Station on August 24, 2025, seeking registration of an FIR against the caller. Although the complaint was entered in the police daily diary, he alleged that no effective action has been taken so far.
He said the persistent threats forced him and his family to leave Peshawar and relocate to Karachi. However, the threatening calls allegedly continued even after the move, leaving the family living in constant fear.
The trader urged the IGP, CCPO and SSP Operations to order an immediate investigation, trace and arrest those responsible, and ensure the safety and security of his family.
