ISLAMABAD– Renowned heart, diabetes and stroke specialist, Gold Medalist and CEO of Mahndi Heart and Medical Center Islamabad, Dr. Raja Mahndi Hassan, has stressed the importance of precautionary measures, healthy lifestyle and expert medical guidance to prevent heart-related diseases.

In a special discussion, Dr. Raja Mahndi Hassan said the popularity of Natural Bypass (EECP) treatment was gradually increasing. He said patients in countries including the USA, UK and Germany were benefiting from the treatment as an alternative option to help manage certain heart-related conditions without surgery.

He said the 35-day EECP treatment involved non-invasive medical sessions and could help improve symptoms such as persistent chest discomfort and shortness of breath in suitable patients.

Dr. Raja Mahndi Hassan said patients from across Pakistan, including Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and tribal areas, were visiting Mehdi Medical Center in Sector E-11/1 Islamabad for the treatment.

He advised people to adopt healthy eating habits, consume fruits and vegetables and make walking part of their routine. He particularly urged parents to protect themselves and their children from excessive consumption of fast food, oily foods and soft drinks.
