Jhelum: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Mir Raza Ozgun to review matters related to the names of Union Councils. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Director Local Government, political figures and other relevant representatives.
During the meeting, various proposals regarding the names of Union Councils were discussed in detail. Participants shared their views and suggestions at the local level, while relevant records and administrative matters were also taken into consideration.
Deputy Commissioner Jhelum Mir Raza Ozgun directed that all matters concerning the names of Union Councils be completed in accordance with the prescribed rules, regulations and relevant procedures. He stressed that the process should be carried forward in a transparent and effective manner while taking into account the views of local representatives and other relevant stakeholders.
