CHINIOT: Federal Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has urged the nation to embrace the timeless teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), saying the tragedy of Karbala remains an eternal symbol of truth, sacrifice, steadfastness and resistance against oppression.Addressing a Muharram gathering in Chiniot, the minister said Imam Hussain’s (RA) supreme sacrifice continues to inspire Muslims around the world with the values of courage, patience, justice and selflessness. He emphasized that the message of Karbala calls for unity, tolerance, mutual respect and unwavering commitment to truth.Praising Chiniot’s peaceful Muharram observances and exemplary religious harmony, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said the city’s traditions should serve as a model for the rest of Pakistan. He also highlighted ongoing development projects, including the FEDMIC Industrial Zone, road infrastructure improvements, and initiatives to strengthen education and healthcare facilities, reaffirming his commitment to resolving the problems of Chiniot’s residents without discrimination.The minister concluded by praying for Pakistan’s peace, stability, prosperity and unity, urging citizens to make the teachings of Imam Hussain (RA), the Ahl e-Bait and the companions a guiding principle in their daily lives.
