ISLAMABAD— Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised the Ministry of Interior, security institutions, and law enforcement agencies for ensuring peaceful observance of Ashura across the country through comprehensive security arrangements.The Prime Minister particularly commended Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his team for their efforts in providing foolproof security for all Ashura processions and religious gatherings (Majalis). He said their dedication and effective coordination were instrumental in maintaining peace and order.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also appreciated the professionalism and commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces, police, and other security and law enforcement personnel deployed on duty.He noted that, by the grace of Allah Almighty, all Ashura related activities concluded peacefully in a secure environment throughout the country.The Prime Minister further lauded the provincial governments, as well as the governments of Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, for making excellent arrangements. He also appreciated all Chief Ministers, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and their respective cabinet members for ensuring effective security measures and maintaining law and order during Ashura.
