JHELUM — A solidarity rally was held in Jhelum on Kashmir Exploitation Day under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mir Raza Ozgun to express support for the people of Kashmir. The rally started from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office and concluded at the Jhelum Press Club.
Administrative officers, civil society representatives, teachers, students, traders, journalists, and members of the public participated, carrying Pakistani and Kashmiri flags along with banners expressing solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
Addressing the rally, the Deputy Commissioner said Pakistan stands firmly with the people of Kashmir and reaffirmed continued moral, political, and diplomatic support for their cause. Additional Deputy Commissioner Alize Rehan and Assistant Commissioner Abdullah Ghazi also addressed the participants.
The event concluded with special prayers for the people of Kashmir, the martyrs, and for peace and prosperity in Pakistan.
