ISLAMABAD—President of Interfaith Tourism for Peace and Development and President of Lake Shore Club, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, has said that the Day of Karbala is an eternal symbol of truth, justice, patience, integrity, and steadfastness against oppression.In his message on the occasion of 10th Muharram, he paid tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his devoted companions, stating that their martyrdom in the plains of Karbala teaches humanity that no sacrifice is too great in the pursuit of truth and justice. He said that Imam Hussain (RA) chose martyrdom over submission to falsehood, leaving behind a timeless legacy that continues to inspire people across the world.Syed Sadat Hussain Shah said that the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) remains a beacon of light for humanity and will continue to guide future generations with the values of courage, faith, and righteousness. He added that the tragedy of Karbala is a shining chapter in Islamic history that will continue to inspire humanity until the Day of Judgment.He further said that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA) calls upon Muslims to promote unity, brotherhood, tolerance, peace, and justice in society. He prayed that Allah Almighty bless Pakistan with lasting peace, stability, and prosperity, and enable the nation to uphold the noble lessons of Karbala in every aspect of life.
