KARACHI — A fundraising dinner was hosted at the residence of Zahid Hameed in honour of Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), and his wife to support the Karachi Football Academy, led by Muhammad Iqbal Memon.
The event was hosted by Zahid Hameed and his wife, Danish Aman and his wife, Ahmer Pasha and his wife, and Taimur Siddiqui and his wife. Members of the business community and other distinguished guests attended the gathering, which focused on philanthropy, youth empowerment and the promotion of sports.
The fundraising initiative aimed to support the academy’s efforts to nurture emerging football talent and provide opportunities for young players. Speakers and participants highlighted the role of sports in promoting discipline, teamwork and personal development among youth.
The gathering also underscored the importance of community support and collaboration between the business sector and philanthropic initiatives to expand sporting opportunities for young people in Karachi.
