Report: ANI Correspondent:

ISLAMABAD –The Health Services Academy (HSA) and Chughtai Lab have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic and clinical collaboration, expand practical training opportunities for students, and enhance professional competencies in the healthcare sector.

Under the partnership, HSA students will have opportunities to undertake internships, clinical rotations, and observational training at Chughtai Lab. These initiatives will help students gain practical experience, understand modern laboratory procedures, and develop professional skills to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.

The MoU also provides for discounted laboratory services at Chughtai Lab for HSA faculty members and students, strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and clinical service providers.

The institutions acknowledged the support and leadership of Professor Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of the Health Services Academy, in promoting collaboration between educational institutions and healthcare organisations.

The partnership reflects HSA’s commitment to combining quality education with practical training and professional development. By linking academic learning with clinical exposure, the collaboration is expected to help prepare skilled and competent healthcare professionals.

The MoU marks an important step towards strengthening institutional ties, expanding professional learning opportunities, and promoting excellence in healthcare education and laboratory services.
