SIBI — Assistant Commissioner Sibi and Lehri Malik Bahadur Khan Bangulzai said providing relief and a peaceful environment to citizens is the administration’s top priority, and artificial inflation and profiteering will not be tolerated.
During a meeting with a delegation of journalists led by Working Journalists Media Group President Mir Allah Dad Rind, the Assistant Commissioner directed traders to sell food items according to the government-issued price list. Violators will face legal action.
He said regular inspections of markets would be conducted to monitor prices and protect citizens from profiteering. He urged the business community to cooperate with the administration and provide relief to the public.
Malik Bahadur Khan Bangulzai also appreciated the role of journalists in highlighting public issues and said the administration would keep its doors open to citizens and ensure that complaints are addressed according to law and merit.
