QUETTA — A comprehensive cleanliness campaign has been launched in Chaman city on the special directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti to improve sanitation and beautify the city.
Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangulzai chaired a meeting with the Municipal Corporation, Local Government and other relevant departments, directing officials to remove garbage dumps, shift waste to designated disposal sites and improve the sanitation system.
Practical cleaning operations have already started in various parts of the city. The Deputy Commissioner, along with Mayor Municipal Corporation Haji Habibullah Achakzai and District Chairman Haji Amanullah, inspected the ongoing campaign and directed officials to speed up the work.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, a regular and comprehensive cleanliness drive will begin across Chaman from Monday, covering key areas, bazaars, highways and streets.
He said providing citizens with a clean and beautiful environment remains a top priority of the district administration.
