FAISALABAD—Citizens, mourners and members of various schools of thought have praised Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad, Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, for ensuring comprehensive security arrangements during Muharram ul-Haram, particularly on Youm e-Ashur.They described RPO Sukhera as a dedicated, hardworking and professional police officer who personally supervised the implementation of an effective security plan throughout Muharram. According to the citizens, his strategic planning, advance preparations, continuous monitoring, efficient deployment of police personnel and close coordination with other law enforcement agencies ensured the peaceful conclusion of all processions, Majalis and Ashura related events.They said the RPO’s security strategy had set an example for other districts, adding that timely measures taken by the police and district administration helped maintain complete law and order and prevented any untoward incident during Ashura.Mourners and the administrations of various Imambargahs also appreciated the efforts of RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, police officers and personnel for providing foolproof security, which enabled devotees to perform their religious obligations in a peaceful and secure environment.The citizens expressed hope that RPO Sukhera would continue serving with the same professionalism and dedication to safeguarding public life and property. They also paid tribute to the Faisalabad Police, saying that close cooperation between the public and law enforcement agencies played a key role in maintaining peace throughout Muharram.
