ISLAMABAD — The National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad has become a member of the International Home of Journalists (IHJ), opening new opportunities for its members to participate in international journalistic activities, professional training programmes, seminars and joint media coverage.
NPC Secretary Dr. Furqan Rao and club member Zigham Naqvi represented the organisation and received the membership certificate, which was later presented to NPC President Abdul Razzaq Siyal.
The International Home of Journalists works in collaboration with the All-China Journalists Association (ACJA), providing a platform for professional cooperation, experience-sharing and the promotion of international media connections.
Under the membership, NPC members will have opportunities to participate in professional training programmes, seminars, joint media coverage and other journalistic activities organised through the IHJ platform and the ACJA. The membership will also enable the National Press Club to organise activities under the IHJ platform and invite other member journalism organisations to participate.
The development marks an important step towards strengthening international media relations, enhancing journalists’ professional skills and promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience among journalists from different countries.
