ISLAMABAD — The National Press Club (NPC), Islamabad, and Roots Millennium Schools have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide special educational concessions to the children of NPC members.

Under the agreement, journalists’ children will receive a **50% discount on admission fees, 20% on tuition fees, and 50% on security fees.**

The MoU was signed by NPC President Abdul Razzaq Sial and Roots Millennium Schools Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Faisal Mushtaq at a ceremony held at the National Press Club. NPC Secretary Dr. Furqan Rao, Finance Secretary Abid Abbasi, Joint Secretary Shakeela Jalil, Syed Zaigham Naqvi, Nasir Aslam Raja and other members attended the event.

Abdul Razzaq Sial thanked the Roots Millennium Schools administration, saying the NPC was working with various institutions to provide greater facilities to journalists and their families. He described the agreement as an important step towards helping journalists secure quality education for their children.

NPC Secretary Dr. Furqan Rao stressed that the concession should apply to all Roots Millennium Schools campuses to benefit members living in different cities across Pakistan.

Dr. Faisal Mushtaq said facilitating access to quality education was among his institution’s key priorities. He highlighted the important role journalists play in promoting public awareness and democratic values, adding that supporting their children’s education was a positive social initiative.

He also emphasised the importance of integrating modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, into education while maintaining the essential role of teachers, parents and human interaction in children’s intellectual, emotional and social development.

The NPC leadership expressed hope that the partnership would support journalists’ families and contribute to a brighter educational future for their children.
