Islamabad — Member of the AJK Legislative Assembly Maryam Idrees met Acting President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Tariq Farooq in Islamabad.
During the meeting, Chaudhry Tariq Farooq said elected representatives have a responsibility to effectively highlight the issues of their constituencies and play their full role in resolving problems faced by the people.
He emphasized that all elected representatives must move forward through mutual consultation and cooperation to strengthen democratic institutions and address public issues in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
