ISLAMABAD — On the instructions of the President of Pakistan, former Senate Chairman Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and President’s Spokesperson Murtaza Solangi visited the Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad to convey condolences and solidarity over the loss and devastation caused by last week’s massive flooding.

The flooding followed landslides and the bursting of a glacier along the China-Nepal border, causing significant loss and destruction.

Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan Rita Dhital received the Pakistani representatives and appreciated the solidarity and support extended by the Government and people of Pakistan to Nepal during the difficult time.

Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and Murtaza Solangi also recorded messages of condolence and solidarity in the Visitors’ Book.
