SARGODHA –Sargodha Police have set a commendable example of humanity and public welfare by donating more than 100 blood bags to children suffering from thalassemia.
Police officers and personnel voluntarily donated blood, providing a new ray of hope to the young patients. Police officials said thalassemia patients require regular blood transfusions and timely availability of blood is vital for saving their lives.
They said the initiative was not only a welfare activity but also a practical message of serving humanity, urging citizens to regularly donate blood for thalassemia patients and others in need.
Citizens, social workers and welfare circles highly appreciated the humanitarian initiative, describing the donation of more than 100 blood bags as an example worthy of emulation. They expressed hope that similar welfare activities would continue in the future.
