Independence Day Message for FINANCIAL TIMES

On behalf of the Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan.
Japan and Pakistan have enjoyed a long-standing friendship based on mutual respect, trust and cooperation. Over the years, our two countries have continued to strengthen their bonds and expand cooperation across various fields.
I sincerely hope that the friendship between Japan and Pakistan will continue to grow stronger in the years ahead, bringing our two peoples even closer together.
I pray for lasting peace, continued progress and prosperity for Pakistan and its people.
