During the operation, Rangers recovered an unlicensed .30-bore pistol with ammunition, three snatched mobile phones, and cash from their possession.According to a Rangers spokesperson, preliminary investigations revealed that the gang was involved in armed robberies and mobile phone snatching incidents in several parts of Karachi, including New Karachi, Baldia Town, Keamari, Sohrab Goth Bus Terminal, Punjab Bus Stand, Jamali Bridge, and surrounding areas. The suspects were identified with the help of intelligence inputs and CCTV footage from a recent robbery at a mobile phone market in Keamari.Officials said Ajmal Khan alias Shas is a habitual offender who had previously been arrested and served a prison sentence before allegedly resuming criminal activities after his release.
