ISLAMABAD — National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has issued production orders for Members of the National Assembly Sanaullah Khan Masti Khel and Dawar Khan Kundi, who are currently in Punjab Police custody, following a request from the Opposition.
The orders were issued under Rule 108 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007, to enable the two lawmakers to attend the ongoing session of the National Assembly.
The National Assembly Secretariat has forwarded copies of the orders to the relevant federal and Punjab government authorities, including the Ministry of Interior, Punjab Chief Secretary, Islamabad Chief Commissioner and the Inspector Generals of Police in Islamabad, along with the National Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms.
