ISLAMABAD — National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended warm felicitations to the Chinese leadership, the National People’s Congress and the people of China on the 77th National Day of the People’s Republic of China.
In his message, the NA Speaker paid tribute to the resilience and unity of the Chinese people, saying China’s development under President Xi Jinping reflects its remarkable progress.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Pakistan-China relations are based on mutual trust, respect and shared interests and continue to strengthen. He noted that 2026 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, describing it as an important milestone in bilateral ties.
He said the Pakistan-China strategic partnership contributes to regional peace, development and prosperity, while the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) remains a key platform for expanding economic and trade cooperation.
The Speaker emphasized the importance of strengthening parliamentary exchanges and people-to-people contacts, reaffirming the National Assembly’s commitment to further enhancing cooperation with China’s National People’s Congress.
