ABU DHABI — Abu Dhabi has assumed majority ownership and commercial control of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, marking a new phase in the tournament’s development and global expansion.
Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub (ADCSH), with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), will oversee the league’s long-term development.
Officials said the new ownership structure aims to strengthen governance, expand the league’s international reach and establish Abu Dhabi as the home of T10 cricket.
The 2026 Abu Dhabi T10 will be held from November 7 to 20 at Zayed Cricket Stadium. ADCSH CEO and newly appointed Abu Dhabi T10 CEO Matt Boucher said the focus would be on enhancing player structures, commercial growth, governance and broadcast innovation.
According to an independent GSIQ report cited by the organisers, the 2025 edition generated US$512 million in media value and 687 million social media impressions worldwide.
Franchise discussions are expected to begin under the new ownership structure as Abu Dhabi looks to further develop the tournament’s international profile.
