LONDON — Chairman of the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council Raja Sikander Khan has congratulated Ch Muhammad Saeed, former President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and former Minister of the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on his unopposed election as a member of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has formally notified Ch Muhammad Saeed among four candidates elected unopposed to the AJK Council.
In a statement, Raja Sikander Khan said he had known Ch Muhammad Saeed for the past 36 years and had closely observed his personal and professional journey.
He described Ch Muhammad Saeed as a dedicated and responsible individual with experience in public affairs, business and politics, and expressed confidence that his experience and administrative capabilities would enable him to contribute to the work of the AJK Council.
Raja Sikander Khan also conveyed his best wishes to Ch Muhammad Saeed for his new constitutional responsibilities and prayed for his continued strength, wisdom and success in serving the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
