KARACHI– Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Mercantile have announced a strategic partnership to expand access to official Apple products for businesses across Pakistan.
Under the partnership, JBS will become Mercantile’s Preferred Partner for Enterprise in Pakistan, adding Apple products to its existing technology portfolio and extending its offerings from data centers and IT infrastructure to workplace and handheld devices.
The partnership will provide Pakistani enterprises with a structured platform to adopt, deploy, manage and support Apple technology within their existing workplace and IT environments. JBS will offer support beyond the point of purchase, including deployment, device management, ongoing services and lifecycle support.
The offering will include support for Apple Business, Automated Device Enrolment, Managed Apple Accounts, device management guidance, as well as access to warranty and after-sales services through Mercantile and Mercantile Care.
Speaking on the occasion, JBS CEO Veqar ul Islam said the partnership would help complete the company’s compute portfolio by connecting data centers and infrastructure with the devices used by employees.
He said AI-native organizations require secure infrastructure, managed endpoints, trained people and governed access to technology. With the addition of the Apple ecosystem alongside its existing Windows capabilities, JBS would be able to support customers across both platforms, from infrastructure and enterprise applications to AI-driven solutions.
Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan and SVP SAGE at Mercantile, said the company was committed to strengthening authorized access, service confidence and enterprise adoption of Apple products in Pakistan.
He said the partnership would combine Mercantile’s authorized Apple ecosystem with JBS’s experience in complex enterprise technology environments and help organizations adopt Apple products with greater confidence.
The companies said the partnership would provide enterprise customers with a more structured pathway to adopting Apple technology at scale while ensuring devices remain manageable, supportable and maintainable throughout their lifecycle.
They added that Pakistan’s IT exports have reached around US$4.6 billion and that continued growth would require local businesses to have access to modern enterprise technology environments. The partnership is expected to support digital adoption, productivity and the broader growth of Pakistan’s digital economy.
