LONDON — The global diesel market is facing prolonged supply pressure, with industry analysts warning that the shortage could continue into 2027.
Reuters reported that conflicts in Iran and Ukraine have disrupted supplies from major producing regions and pushed inventories to historically low levels.
Diesel prices have reached record highs in several major markets, increasing costs for transport, agriculture and manufacturing. Analysts say stretched refinery capacity and continued geopolitical uncertainty could keep pressure on global fuel markets.
