LAHORE, August 21, 2026: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to the security forces and police for successful operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The Prime Minister said security forces and police, in joint operations, eliminated a total of 49 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
He said the successful operations were a reflection of the professionalism, courage and commitment of the security forces and police.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed that the Government of Pakistan remains fully committed to eliminating terrorism from the country and ensuring peace and security for the people.
