Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Madia Batool said businesses with an annual turnover of up to Rs200 million, including those operating a single shop, could benefit from the scheme.
She said eligible retailers would receive certain tax-related facilities, including exemption from regular audits and a green plate. She urged the business community to take advantage of the scheme and contribute to the national exchequer.
The Deputy Commissioner also addressed questions raised by the business community and provided guidance on the scheme.
