ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Hameed Niazi, Director General of the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), as Joint Secretary in the Federal Education and Professional Training Division.
The Establishment Division has issued a notification in this regard. According to the notification, Mr Niazi has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Federal Education and Professional Training Division on deputation for a period of three years under the prescribed terms and conditions.
Mr Niazi has shown administrative and professional abilities during his service and is regarded as a highly competent, dynamic and experienced officer.
Education experts said that, in view of his experience and capabilities, Mr Niazi is expected to make an effective contribution to the federal education sector in his new role.
Education circles in Islamabad have congratulated Hameed Niazi on taking up his new responsibility and conveyed their best wishes for his success.
