ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack carried out by Fitna Al-Khawarij militants on a Joint Police Check Post in Tank district.
The Prime Minister praised the security forces for their timely, courageous, and professional response, which successfully foiled the attack and eliminated 12 terrorists.
He expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of 12 Pakistan Army personnel, two police officials, and one Forest Department official. He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and extended his heartfelt condolences to their bereaved families.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that Pakistan would not rest until terrorism is completely eradicated from its soil. He said the security forces and all law enforcement agencies would continue their operations with full determination to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
