CHAMAN—Deputy Inspector General of Police, Zhob Range, Sohail Khalid visited District Chaman to review the overall law and order and security situation. On his arrival at the SP Office, he was presented with a guard of honor before receiving a detailed briefing from SP Chaman Aitezaz Arif on security, policing, and crime control in the district.
The DIG was also briefed by the District Officer CTD on counter-terrorism measures, intelligence-based operations, and ongoing action against suspected militants. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner Chaman, senior police officers, CTD officials, Special Branch representatives, and SHOs.
During the visit, DIG Sohail Khalid directed officers to further strengthen law enforcement, crime prevention, and counter-terrorism efforts. He also inspected City Police Station Chaman and Zhara Band Police Station, instructing officers to enhance practical measures for the protection of public life and property.
