KARACHI –Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani attended the Nikah ceremony of the son of Makhdoom Syed Akbar Mahmood and the granddaughter of Lieutenant General (Retd.) Moinuddin Haider in Karachi, extending his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds.
The ceremony was attended by former Punjab Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood, Syed Murtaza Mahmood, former MNA Jahangir Tareen, Syed Iftikhar-ul-Hassan Gilani, MNA Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani, MNA Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, MNA Sharmila Faruqui, MNA Syed Naveed Qamar, MPA Syed Ali Haider Gilani, Pir Syed Rashid Rashdi, members of the Makhdoom families from Uch Sharif, Multan and Jamal Din Wali, along with prominent political and social personalities and parliamentarians from across the country.
On the occasion, Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani prayed for the newlyweds’ happiness, prosperity, mutual respect and success in their married life. He also expressed hope that their new journey would bring lasting peace and contentment and that the occasion would bring blessings and happiness to both families.
