ISLAMABAD — The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the World Bank have discussed measures to simplify business regulations and improve Pakistan’s investment environment.

According to an official statement issued on Sunday, the SIFC Secretary held a meeting with a World Bank delegation to discuss regulatory reforms under the Ease of Doing Business framework and the Pakistan Business Portal.

The World Bank appreciated the SIFC’s approach and assured continued cooperation in efforts aimed at improving the business environment.

The proposed reforms seek to streamline regulatory procedures, reduce compliance burdens and facilitate business activities, with the broader objective of attracting investment and supporting private-sector growth.
