National Party leader terms incident a violation of Balochistan’s traditions and democratic values
BY: ANI Correspondent:
QUETTA–National Party leader and Member of the National Assembly Phulein Baloch has strongly condemned the reported attack on the residence of party central leader and former provincial minister Sardar Muhammad Aslam Bizenjo, calling for the immediate arrest of those responsible and legal action against them.
In a statement, Phulein Baloch said that an attack on the residence of a political leader was contrary to the traditions of Balochistan and the sanctity of the home, while also undermining political and democratic values.
He said the National Party was a peaceful and democratic political organisation committed to the philosophy of non-violence advocated by Mir Ghaus Bakhsh Bizenjo. Political differences were a fundamental part of democratic politics, he added, but harassment of political leaders and violation of the sanctity of their homes could not be accepted.
Phulein Baloch said political disagreements should be addressed through democratic means, dialogue and the rule of law rather than through intimidation or violence.
He urged the government to conduct an immediate investigation into the incident, identify and arrest those involved, and take legal action against them in accordance with the law.
The National Party leader further called for effective measures to ensure political tolerance, respect for differing views and the protection of democratic values in Balochistan.
