MITHI/ISLAMKOT: Taking an important initiative to improve livestock healthcare in Tharparkar, LCI Company organized a free veterinary medical camp in Islamkot, where more than 400 animals belonging to local livestock owners were examined and treated free of cost.

The camp provided veterinary consultations, medical examinations and free medicines to animals suffering from various diseases. A team of veterinary doctors remained present throughout the camp under the supervision of Dr. Ahsan. Specialist doctors from Karachi also participated, examining livestock and guiding owners on treatment and proper animal care.

Livestock owners from surrounding villages brought their sick animals to the camp, where veterinary doctors assessed their condition and provided appropriate medicines free of charge. The owners were also educated about disease prevention, timely treatment, proper nutrition and improved livestock management practices.

According to the organizers, the objective of the camp was to provide accessible and timely veterinary healthcare to livestock owners in Thar, improve animal health and help reduce economic losses caused by livestock diseases.

Local livestock owners appreciated LCI Company’s initiative and the services provided by the veterinary team. They said livestock is a vital source of livelihood for people in Thar and emphasized the need for similar free veterinary camps to be organized regularly across the region.
