ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.
The two leaders discussed matters relating to parliamentary affairs as well as pending government and private members’ legislative business in the National Assembly.
Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of a strong and effective Parliament in strengthening Pakistan’s democratic institutions. He also stressed the need for close coordination among parliamentary parties on matters of national interest.
