GUJRANWALA: Commissioner Gujranwala Division Mohammad Ali, RPO Gujranwala Khurram Shahzad Haider Virk, Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Adnan Qureshi and DPO Gujranwala Faisal Shahzad visited the central mosque and met with the organizers.
During the meeting, security arrangements, the main procession and other preparations for the Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ celebrations were reviewed.
Later, Commissioner Mohammad Ali and RPO Khurram Shahzad Haider Virk attended the main gathering. The officers inspected security, cleanliness and other arrangements and directed the concerned departments to ensure continuous monitoring.
On the occasion, the officers extended greetings to the participants and said that promoting unity, brotherhood, peace and harmony was a collective responsibility. They stressed that religious festivals should be celebrated in a peaceful and secure environment.
The organizers expressed satisfaction with the security, cleanliness and other arrangements made by the district administration, police and relevant departments.
