Report: GNM

SIBI — The Municipal Committee Sibi has continued its cleanliness and drainage operation following rainfall in the city, removing accumulated rainwater from various roads, streets and public places.

Municipal sanitation workers, with the help of machinery and manual teams, promptly cleared water from affected areas and carried out cleaning activities, easing difficulties faced by citizens.

The cleanliness drive is being conducted on the special directives of Municipal Committee Chairman Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajjak and under the supervision of Chief Officer Muhammad Qayyum Dahpal. Officials said sanitation teams remain active to deal with post-rain issues, with special attention being given to important areas of the city.

Chairman Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajjak said that despite limited municipal funds, providing basic facilities to citizens remains the committee’s responsibility. He said cleanliness arrangements would continue on major roads, around mosques, procession routes and other public places during Rabi-ul-Awwal.

He added that the drainage and cleanliness situation was being closely monitored and immediate action would be taken wherever water accumulation or sanitation problems were reported.
