SARGODHA — A meeting of the District Coordination Committee for Development, Khushab, was held under the joint chairmanship of former MPA Malik Karam Elahi Bandial and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber to review progress on development projects, the Punjab Development Program, the Suthra Punjab Program, clean drinking water schemes, and law and order.
The meeting, attended by MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, MPA Malik Muhammad Asif Bhah Awan, and senior officials, was informed that billions of rupees had been allocated for development projects across the district under the Punjab Development Program.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber directed all departments to complete projects within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring high construction standards. MPA Malik Muhammad Asif Bhah Awan also informed the meeting that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had approved the construction of 10-kilometre roads and installation of streetlights along both sides of the Shawala Drain.
