QUETTA—Pakistan Muslim League (N) Balochistan Secretary Information Chaudhry Shabbir Balochistani has said that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s remarks about the failure of the administrative system amount to an admission of his own failure and warrant his immediate resignation.
He said that if the Interior Minister believes the state’s administrative system and law and order have deteriorated, the responsibility lies primarily with the Ministry of Interior. He also criticized Naqvi for previously downplaying the security situation in Balochistan while now acknowledging systemic failure.
Balochistani maintained that while the PML-N leadership remains committed to strengthening state institutions, every minister is individually accountable for his performance. He urged Mohsin Naqvi to accept responsibility for his shortcomings and step down instead of issuing statements.
