MANDI BAHAUDDIN— On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Adeel Haider, Managing Director WASA Ali Ahmed and Assistant Commissioner Asfandyar visited Rehmanpura to inspect rainwater drainage arrangements.
The Assistant Commissioner directed officers and field staff to remain on high alert during rainfall, closely monitor vulnerable areas and ensure the immediate removal of accumulated rainwater. He said providing maximum relief to citizens is the district administration’s top priority and warned that negligence or delays would not be tolerated.
The district administration and WASA are jointly working to further improve the city’s drainage system to minimize public inconvenience during the monsoon season.
