KAHUTA Intermittent monsoon rains continue across Tehsil Kahuta, leading to increased water flow in low-lying areas, streams, and hilly regions. In view of the potential emergency situation, the district administration has established a Monsoon Emergency Relief Camp and directed all relevant departments to remain on high alert.
Assistant Commissioner Kahuta, Shireen Gul, stated that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of citizens during the monsoon season. She urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel, stay away from rivers, streams, and floodwater, exercise extra caution in areas vulnerable to landslides, and prevent children from playing in rainwater.
She further advised that in the event of any emergency, citizens should immediately contact the relevant authorities and rescue services to ensure a timely response. The administration also appealed to the public to follow official weather advisories and rely only on authentic sources for information instead of paying attention to rumors.
