ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Member of the National Assembly and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Fauzia Habib, paying tribute to her valuable services to the party, democracy, and the country.
The President noted that the late Fauzia Habib also served as a member of the Presidency staff during his first term in office (2008–2013), acknowledging her dedication and commitment.
President Zardari described her death as an irreparable loss to the Pakistan Peoples Party and praised her lifelong contributions to public service, democracy, and the PPP.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul, asking Almighty Allah to grant her the highest place in His mercy and to bless her family with patience and strength to bear this profound loss.
