Customers at Servis Shoes outlets across Pakistan are set to experience a faster and more convenient checkout process as easypaisa QR payments roll out nationwide through a new partnership between easypaisa digital bank and Servis Shoes.
The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enable QR-based digital payments and Soundbox solutions across 300 stores, bringing a more seamless retail payment experience to shoppers in major cities and markets nationwide. The move is aimed at making transactions quicker, safer and easier for customers who prefer contactless payment options.
Under the partnership, easypaisa will deploy QR solutions and Soundbox devices across Servis stores, helping merchants and customers complete purchases with greater ease. By integrating its digital payment ecosystem into the retail environment, easypaisa is working to strengthen trust in cashless transactions while supporting the shift toward modern payment habits in Pakistan.
The initiative reflects the growing demand for practical digital payment methods in retail, especially as consumers increasingly look for secure and contactless options at the point of sale. With easypaisa QR payments, shoppers can scan easypaisa Raast QR codes from their phones and make instant transactions without the need for cash or physical cards.
Speaking on the development, Shahzad Khan, Chief Business Officer at easypaisa digital bank, said the collaboration with Servis Shoes is a meaningful step in meeting rising demand for contactless payments while supporting the broader cashless economy agenda in Pakistan. He noted that Servis is a well-recognized household brand, making the partnership significant for wider adoption of digital financial solutions.
Kashif Aziz Khwaja, Chief Executive Officer of Service Retail (Pvt.) Ltd., said the agreement signals growing merchant confidence in digital financial services and could help broaden acceptance of digital payments across Pakistan’s retail sector.
With more than 60 million registered users, easypaisa continues to position itself as a key player in Pakistan’s digital banking landscape. The bank says it remains focused on expanding financial services for existing customers while also reaching people who are still unbanked or underbanked, in line with the State Bank of Pakistan’s vision for inclusive economic growth.
