ISLAMABAD — A pre-event briefing on the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2026 (PMIF26) was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for ambassadors and diplomats based in the capital.
Ambassador Abrar Hashmi, Additional Secretary (SIFC & ED), opened the session. Mirza Nasir ud Din Mashood Ahmed, Special Secretary Petroleum Division, Ahmed Hayat Lak, Managing Director OGDC, and their teams briefed the participants.
The session covered the forum’s concept, key thematic sessions, programme, venue, registration and participation arrangements for ministers, diplomats, investors and industry leaders. Participants were also briefed on the exhibition and planned government-to-government (G2G) and government-to-business (G2B) engagements.
