Report: ANI Correspondent,:
TURBAT:The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has declared proposals for establishing five new registration centres in Kech and Panjgur feasible and assured their inclusion in the annual plan for the fiscal year 2026–27, following efforts by National Party central leader and MNA Pullain Baloch.
According to a letter issued by NADRA Chairman Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar to MNA Pullain Baloch, the proposed centres will be established in Aabsar, Shahi Tump and Kalag in Kech district, and Washbood and Issai in Panjgur.
The letter stated that the establishment and operationalisation of the centres would depend on the timely availability of buildings at the proposed locations. The NADRA chairman reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to improving public access to registration services and making the centres operational as early as possible.
The proposed facilities are expected to help residents obtain national identity cards and other registration services locally, reducing the need to travel to distant areas.
Pullain Baloch also handed over a copy of the letter to Panjgur District Council Chairman Abdul Malik Saleh, who thanked him for his efforts.
