MITHI: On the occasion of Youm-e-Nijat, members of civil society in Tharparkar organised a rally in Mithi to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army and reaffirm their commitment to national unity, peace and security.
The rally started from Kashmir Chowk and concluded at Sadiq Faqeer Chowk. Participants carried national flags and banners and chanted slogans including “Long Live Pakistan” and “Long Live Pakistan Army.” Sweets were also distributed among the participants.
Speakers and participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces and appreciated their role in maintaining peace and combating terrorism. They also acknowledged the efforts being made under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to strengthen national defence, security and stability.
Participants also raised slogans against TSM, stressing the importance of peace, national cohesion and stability.
The rally concluded with prayers and expressions of goodwill for Pakistan’s continued progress, prosperity, peace and security.
