QUETTA — National Party Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly and Chairman Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Phelain Baloch, MPA and Chairman Standing Committee on Science and Technology and Formal and Informal Education Khair Jan Baloch, Deputy Secretary General Wahid Rahim, Javed Baloch and Zameer Azim met Chief QESCO Engineer Mirza Aizaz Baig.
The meeting discussed the overall electricity supply situation in Balochistan, particularly the timely completion of ongoing projects in Makran and Awaran, public difficulties and challenges faced by QESCO.
Various proposals to improve electricity supply, transmission, distribution, repair and maintenance systems were also discussed, with emphasis on developing practical measures according to local needs and conditions.
Chief Engineer (Technical, Operations and Maintenance) Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Marri and Staff Officer to CCO Ali Ahmed Haleemi were also present.
